Made an offer waiting for response from dealer
read ALL of the VIN tags to make sure they match. Just because the car has had multiple liens doesnot mean is has had that many owners, the Registered owners is what you should look for. I can go take out a loan on my car and it will be reported as a lien, does not mean there is a problem. Just do a good job going over it and MAKE The dealer give you a WE OWE allowing you 1 week to drive the car for Discovery of any possible issues. I worked at a Honda dealer 7 years. Just do a good thorough inspection and have it looked over by a local S2000 shop as not many Honda dealers have techs that know anything about this car.
I have the work kai wheels in 17x8+42 front and 17x9+38 rears. You have the get atleast 9" wide to get a concave look if not you get what they call the flat face. My rears rub once in a blue if I hit a pot hole from hell but I'm at stock height. Your measurements and a drop are going to need some fender work so be prepared for that. Well first buy the car and do research for the wheels. Goodluck and congrats if you get the car.
Thank you
BTW, a "proper" Certified Honda is supposed to be Bone Stock, including all logos/emblems and also have minimum requirements for brake Pads and Tires. All tires are also supposed to match. Being bone stock does not mean it was always bone stock so check the bolts and nuts under the hood to see if they are marred from taking stuff off and on.

OHHhhhh yeah I agree with JOHNS2000.. A real certified car has to have all stock parts including the exhaust. An aftermarket exhaust is going to void your certified warranty unless its a shady dealership and doesnt report it to hondat. The tires not being stock bridgestones isnt a big deal with certification but all 4 have to match... but the wheels have to be stock. S2ks dont come with chrome wheels as you mentioned before. Can you post a link for this car somewhere? I'll check it out and see whats up
In the picture of the rear end you can see the exhaust tip has a burned tip and those are the old S2K chrome wheels arent they?
Thanks for the link. Those are ap1aka first generation wheels which must have been polished by the previous owners cause they dont come that way stock at all. I dont know why they would do the when the stock ap2 wheels look so much better and are bigger lmaooo ohhh well That cars suspension is setup for an inch taller n wider wheel than whats on it lol Dumbb move by the previous 5 owners lol The car isnt supposed to be certified with that exhaust at all. I doubt theyre going to call you back considering the car is advertised for $22300 and youre offering $19k. They havent had the car on their property too long so will probably hold off and wait for another buyer thats willing to pay more than you are but thats upto them. At my store we advertise aggressively online with low prices to make sure you contact us vs other stores and we dont budge off advertised prices more than a couple hundred and thats about it.
