Correct this car is a turbo builders dream. I have personally worked on and ridden in this car. It was all built by a local shop and done right with massive amounts of money put into the engine. The motor itself has really low mileage, like less then 5,000 if I remember correctly. It has the chrome ap1 wheels on it because he sold his ap2 wheels, and bought white cr kais. Then his wife had a child and continued to pursue his law career. This left him with no time for the car. So he decided to trade it in on a new family sedan. Obviously its pointless and a waste of money to trade in a S with cr kais, so he sold those and picked up the chrome ap1 wheels super cheap. All the work was done by UMS tuning, including a lot of the maintenance. UMS has done quite a few s2000 builds and some of their cars can be found in the power chart in the FI section. This car made 502whp on high boost, and around 400 on low boost. He rarely drove it on the high boost map, literally probably less then 10 times.(it scared the shit out of him). The engine was built/sleeved from the valve retainers down. Great car and I would be really excited to see it go to someone who was going to build it and turn it back into what it was. PM me if you have any questions and I can text the old owner about it for you.

There you go Mino.

Maybe you could try contacting the shop that did the build to get specs. I would try lowballing the dealer after pointing out all the non-stock mods. If the car was in fact built right, there may be a deal to be had.

Thank you very much I made an offer last night and I'm waiting for the dealer to call me back. If the deal goes threw I will try contacting you about the specs of the engine.

Thanks I did point out the radiator and the AP1 wheels when I made the offer. So hopefully I hear from them today.

@Mino8123,
Good luck man, if you are going big with the S2K this is it. If this is your first S2K please be careful and stay safe.

I'm not sure if you want to be starting out with a modified s2k for your first taste. This car should be appreciated in it's virgin form before attempting to improve on perfection.

Yes, this is probably an awesome deal as 3en said, but if the compression has been lowered for the turbo application (9.6:1(?) from 11.1:1), the car will not feel good without the turbo installed. The high compression motor kind of makes the s2k what it is.

Thats true but my previous car was a 440whp 335i so when it comes to power I think I can handle it I know what you mean tho and I hope it is not too different from a stock S. But I will most likely get the Greddy kit by the end of this year.
