After looking at those photos, I would not spend $20,000 for that car. The car looks no where near stock. If is not stock or has been mods I would not pay more than $16,000 for it. To be honest I would not buy a mod car period unless I know the owner very well.

You need a lot of patients to look for a S2K if you are going to spend over $18,000. In my option, I would not drop $18,000 for non-stock S2K. One thing I learn from buying a used sport car is not to buy a mods one, because I will not know what I am going to get myself into. Be very patient looking for a used sport car, you don’t want to own one that has been abused. Back in 2006 it took me over 8 months to find MY03, and back then Honda still making the S2K. I hopes that might helps you not to hurry buying the wrong S2K.

Ummm, what?

Do you have any proof that Honda *voids* their warranties if an aftermarket exhaust is installed? I don't believe it.

Shop for the best car and not for your favorite color. Buying used is never the same as buying new. It goes without saying, many more acceptible cars within your price range will now be available.
