My maintenance required light just came on at 7453 miles while I was on the freeway?

I am getting my 7500 mile service as well as my second oil change done on Wednesday or Thursday so I'll get it checked out then.

But what could be the reasons?

It's just a reminder light. You can turn it off yourself and reset it. The instructions are in the FAQ or the owner's manual.

 

Its normal, just do the routine service!

I was pretty sure it was for the servicing, but I was a little surprised it came on before 7500 miles.
