it must be fun...
you should of take a picture where the cop is handcuffing you!
i did that when i was in canada
my car got towed, and one of the cops gave me a ride to get my car back.
and before he got into his car and left, i asked him if we could take of picture of him handcuffing me.
must say, its a cool picture, I showed my parents and they freaked out LOL

Aldo, glad you enjoyed! If you like reading long posts, you can search for my name and see my Miata vs S2000 review, it is 14,000 words long
Also was a very good read. I like your writing style too. You seem cool calm and collected. the cops, your a lawyer and you didn't turn them in?! Those cops are a blatent dis regard for ethics. I would have blown a head gasket after i pulled away. You my friend, have much patience that i wish i had

I am saddened that this thread will have no more updates. Good story and thanks for sharing, cheers.

I will have more updates on this thread, as a final ending. I take lots of trips around the world, and never did the pics and update like this. Since I leave my phone number, when there were couple days in Chicago and Denver, when I was having too much fun, people actually called me to complain I didn't update my thread enough

Guess people really enjoyed it.

I don't have any other roadtrips coming up, but i am in Dubai/Brunei/S. Africa a lot, and maybe I will make some travel threads, for you guys to enjoy.

I will write a full write up of the car and how I thought it did compared to my other toys with some final pictures in the next couple of days.

Got a road trip to San Diego to do tomorrow, after that will update the thread.

Yes, all my life I have been very patient, it has really helped me. I have had girlfriends get mad because I don't get mad. Go figure. I learned not to have a temper WAY before law school. My dad had a very short temper all my life, and though he meant well, I swore never to be like him.

If you are ever in So Cal, come say hi. I travel to NY a lot (spent a few years in Long Island), and will say hi next time.

I had lots of people from Elise Talk and Miata net meet me along the way and had a great time. Aside from Chicago (where I met couple S2k owners) and Boston (where I made great friends with some S2k owners) who were very cool, I didn't meet other S2k owners, which disappointed me a bit. But different communities are different I suppose.
