A fan pulled up as I was getting ready to open the door. He wanted to ask a few questions and I always try to be cordial so I say sure. He asks the usual questions, seems to know a little about the S2K. I wasn't in any hurry so I asked if he wanted a ride. He's so excited I thought he was going to mess himself. I took him for a ride around a few blocks, maybe 2-3 miles and in one spot I managed to get enough room to let Melissa show her stuff. Heel-toe shift down to second into a right hander about 30 mph, redline to third, you know the drill. Melissa must have known cuz she was in rare form. Nice drift and tires howling coming out of the right turn. Too cool! I was so proud of her. I drop the guy off and he says thanks for the "near death experience". What a compliment to my baby. He had a smile bigger then his face could manage. I guess the point is, she has another fan watching over her now.

 

have you ever considered writing as a career? I almost shit in my pants reading your story ... in fact the first time I drove my s2k home I think I did shit in my pants ...

 

Nice to know you have a name for your car, for one second I was wondering what you were going on about. Glad to also know that you drive the car like it was made to with no problems.
