Honda Says the PDI test drive should be 7 miles. So you figure 7 miles plus whatever it rolled off the truck with. Most miles I've seen on a car that rolled off the truck was 2. My '05 had 12 when I bought it, and My '06 had 4 - I asked them to skip the PDI drive.

 

I have always been told as other's have said, some cars are tested on a track at the factory. I ordered mine and i know that no one else drove it. It came off the truck with 11 miles on the odo, so i assume my car was tested at the factory prior to being shipped.

Got mine with 8 and the salesman had taken it to get a full tank. I saw him driving it the other way as we were headed to the dealership.

 

Five years ago, I bought the "outside" test-drive car. Over 700 miles on it. It had the spoilers on front and rear + floormats, though.
