Mobil One
If this oil is so good, why does Honda not recommend using it in their cars? They tell you what other fluids to use, such as special coolant, brake fluid, etc.
I heard Mobil One can leak easier than regular oil, maybe not right away but miles down the road.

I guess I am looking for research that Mobil One does a better job with street engines over Dino oils that are changed every 3000 miles, not opinions, but quality research.
Anyone know of such research?

I switched from Mobil 1 to Leading edge which is a blend. I am happy with the results. Here's some info on it http://www.importreview.com/reviews/lelube.htm
The "leaks" that most people hear of are on older German vehicles with Mobil 1. It seems the Germans used a different rubber compound years ago and the thin Mobil 1 oil seemed to leak more easily. I would certainly recommend it for regular use AFTER an initial break in period of 5k miles or more.
OSUGRAD is correct. Certain oils may have difficulties in older cars (and airplanes) due to seals (read O-Ring) compatability. The newer seals, made of ethylene propylene (EPR) have no problems, while older ones made of Butyl Nitrate may (Buna-N. After proper break in with a mineral oil to 5K miles......Mobil One is the oil of choice for a modern car.
