Default My car keeps getting better!

Up to now, I've had notchiness in my tranny, but when driving the past few days, it seems to have gone away. All my shifts are now buttery smooth, and I can see why this is considered the best transmission in the world! In addition, my car is getting stronger and stronger. I've got about 3700 miles on the clock, can't wait to see how much better it will get!

I hear you, my car seemed to gain strength up to about 7,000 miles. My tranny has been getting better as of late as well also??? Maybe the hot weather, but I thought I'd read other peeps having more trouble in the hot weather. Oh well, I'm happier now than 5,000 miles ago for sure. If I could just get that damn clicking to go away!!!

I've got 7500 miles on the car and it's definitely stronger now than when I first bought it. The tranny is about the same for me. It has it's good days and bad days. Don't have the grind, and hope never to have it.

Jay, you have almost as many posts as miles on your car?! Maybe you should try less time at the computer and more time driving this fantastic car!

Cheers,
John

I've noticed my tranny getting smoother over time as well. I've got 3000 miles and once the box is warmed up all the shifts are buttery smooth.

I wonder what the "more refined" tranny for MY2002 refers to.

Yeah, after the tune-up that was Thunderhill last wednesday, My car seems to be quicker. Im sure it's all (at least most of it) in my head, but yeah. However, my brakes are another story, gotta change the fluid this weekend. Clutch, too, as it seems a little funky.
