we hit 141mph with the top down on a group drive on highway 25

 

My first time hitting 100 in the S was on my drive to Kalamazoo, MI on I94 in Michigan. There's no way I'd go over 100 in Indiana and Chicago, I seen a lot of Camaro cop cars in Indiana. I did 145 with the top down flying behind a random M3. Fastest with the top up was 135. Also done 135 (top up) on the Amstutz (rt 137) in Waukegan, horrible road. That's the same road that the Batmobile was on in Batman Begins, right before he gets into his cave.

 

According to my speedo, I hit 154 mph once while street racing a stock RSX Type S down 101 south to Gilroy. Of course, in reality, I probably wasnt going that fast but honestly, 100 doesn't even get the pulse to quicken anymore. Gotta hand it to the guy in the RSX though, he had the balls and skills to take it to about 140-145 mph. If it wasn't the car that limited him, I'm sure he would have given me even more of a run for my money. He is one of the scant few that deserves the title of Street Racer.

 

exactly. If I want to go fast nowadays, I just jump on one of my two bikes. Cars are comparatively slow and a lot less exciting.

 

142 on a open clear highway and the top sounded like it was ready to rip off. i was surprised at that high of a speed it was still goin so im guessing it goes over 150. not sure if ill ever get that far

 

First time over 100 was in a friends Mustang Fast back when we went 112. Before that I thought 90 was fast enough...

 

i broke 100 mph the first day i had my S but 200 km/h took a lot longer, but was just as great But the fastest i ever driven was 140mph (finish line on standing mile run)

 

I think I hit 100+ everytime I get on the freeway in the S.

 

life starts over at 170+ mph (which is clearly not being done in the S)

get faster cars

 

I don't feel comfortable in the S to go anything faster than 110. besides, it takes forever to get up to 100mph in S. use to be that in an evo, I'll be doing 120 in a blink of an eye...
