I have topped out 5th gear many times. The fastest I've gone in the S2k is 162mph. I had a little help, a GT2 to draft off of and a slight downhill. 100mph, as others have said, is a daily occurance, I run it to redline in 4th gear every day on my way to work.

my highest was 109 on my 98' Civic EX Sedan.
its pretty scary if you ask me...
the car shakes so much, and it feels like it'll flip over! haha
but its still very much fun!

The fastest I went was about 140 in a modified '92 Civic HB (revved to 10,000+rpm). I had to guess that I was going 140 because the speedo ended at 130 on the car. Those were the good ol' days...fun car.

I've been to 100 in other cars before, but the S was the first car I hit 140 in.

Lol. I'll try, but it's really hard for me to go anywhere right now. I own and operate a restaurant. I literally work every day because I don't have any managers at the moment. I would definately love to go though. I'll see what I can work out, but if not then any of you guys are more than welcome to come to Nashville to check out the car. I'll even buy you guys lunch or dinner at my place if you come down.

exactly. If I want to go fast nowadays, I just jump on one of my two bikes. Cars are comparatively slow and a lot less exciting.
depends on the car you are in.

The "Woz" (the Apple founder) was caught speeding at 104 MPH in his Prius. Does that count?
