My J's Racing S2000 Project!
interesting thread.. good luck with the project,
I had some fun "working" with J's when I lived in Japan.. they were fun guys even if the language and communication was tricky.. and they managed to empty my wallet on quite a few occasions..
when my car was in there workshop for modification.. they always lent me a good car to use.. usually a 660cc 30hp something
they did not trust me with their S2000's

Marios, great thread. I will now pester you like you did on my S/C project
RE the idle. You need to see the voltage that your TPS is giving out. The body of the sensor can be turned so that it adjusts the spring inside, and thus gives a change in voltage.
You need it to read about 0.45v when closed. I think yours will be reading about 0.8v
Also, I was told that the J's ECU had now resolved the problem with the immobiliser on euro spec cars. Previously you had to earth one of the wires on the ECU but this has been fixed. Not sure if they meant that was using your original ECU or not though. Imagine there may be an issue if you use a spare ECU?
Can I ask what you are paying for the J's ECU?

As far as I know Euro ECU does not come with immobiliser
If J's Racing send out a modified UK spec ECU, they have now adapted the curcuit to send an earth signal to the fuel pump like stock.
I suspect the ECU that I have is a JSpec one where I had to ground the fuel pump relay wire - simple enough.

Hi mate... What are you doing here instead of bolting on your Supercharger?
Feel free to pester me around.
As for the Spoon TB I am expecting J's Racing TB on Monday. It seems that they have them in stock judging from their emails.
Am waiting for a reply as well for the ECU (I have no idea for the price).
And just like Amuse_Boy said I believe that they have upgrade their ECU/Immobiliser thingy.

Another thing that am concerned is that I dont know if J's Racing is taken under consideration the radiator/thermostat/radiator cap instalation.
To be more specific!
I have mail them to prepare the mapping for the following items/mods:
1) J's Racing Tsuchinoko Intake
2) J's Racing Throttle Body
3) J's Racing Header
4) J's Racing Test Pipe (not yet fitted)
5) J's Racing Dual Exhaust
6) J's Racing RS Aluminum radiator (not yet fitted)
7) J's Racing Thermostat (not yet fitted)
8) J's Racing Radiator Cap
9) J's Racing Exhaust Catch Can (not yet fitted)
BUT I have not fitted yet items 6 & 7 for the cooling! Hence am mostly concerned that if I fit the J's Racing ECU with the above relative mapping (and without items 5 & 6) then I may have high water temperature. I am not sure about this and I would like some opinions on this.

Just ask them but im sure it wont be a problem short term. The map adjustments will be very slight I would guess. If thats an OIL catch can then that wont make a shred of difference.
