My new Grille-Tech grills
On the subject of cutting the side vents, I would use a key hole saw to cut perfect round holes in the center of teh vent and you can still screw the side vents on. That way you can also get a matching diameter hose to run and direct the cool ait wher you want it inside the engine bay.
not too hard to install
it took me an hour or so (i worked really slow
) to put them on and decided not to take them off.
i actually put them on in front of the fins before but i just don't like the way it looks and hang to the fins. so i've decided to try to put in behind the fins and it works.
let me know if you needed help~

this seems to be the easiest way to work it out so far
but still you will have to take the front bumper off ... that's a lot of work ... and i am lazy
i need some motivation ... maybe i should clear out my corner at the same time ...

I have the Coastal Metal grills.
I have only seen the Grill Tech grills once before but have yet to see their "re-designed" product. Therefore, I am unable to pass judgement here on the ones Muz has posted.I can tell you that I am very happy with the CM grills I have.
Grills just seem to be a "must have" on the S2000.
Don't cut or drill into your fake air ducts!
I applied two small (pencil eraser size) beads of Permatex Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant to the one upper and one lower corner of the Grill-Tech size grills. Of course I cleaned my fake air ducts with Simple green then rubbing alcohol first. I had to sit there and hold each grill in place for 5-10 mins. They both seem to be holding well.
Before I did this I used the adhesive on some scrap plastic I had laying around. After letting the stuff cure for 24 hours, I tried to seperate the pieces. They held together great, only with significant effort was I able to get them appart. I figure (hope) that they will stay in place until I want to remove them.
Also, I used twice as many ties as the instructions stated to secure my center grill. Yes, could see the ties and yes that bothered me. Luck for me I bought the silver grill, and I have a silver car. So of course I have the all-to necessary touch-up paint. I applied a couple of dabs of the paint on the ties and now you can only see them if you get down and realy look for them.

Great idea tbilyk on the touch up paint, I might just do that myself. Although, I want to cut the side grills for the airflow it induces into the engine bay, not just for mounting purposes! Thanks for the idea though.
