question, i guess you guys are talking about not hitting vtec till the cars broken in. how long does it take to break in these cars?

1000kms or 600miles. Standard pretty much for all hondas.

Break-in recommendations as per owner's manual stipulates that engine rpm NOT exceed 5500 till 1000 km has been reached. VTEC engagement is just over 6000 rpm. Until the car has been VTEC'd, it is still considered a virgin.
