I got a question ...... 10-26 is filled up, and now people are filling up the 11-16 session (FATT).

She was telling me, some people might get into group 2 or advance group and there will be more spaces for the novice (rookies to the track), how does that work ?

 

You have to be signed off by at least one instructor in order to run in Group 2, which is comprised of more experienced, faster, and some would say more reckless drivers. You still need to have an instructor with you.

After proving yourself to two different instructors you may be signed off run solo. This also qualifies you for "Seat Time"

As Reston2000 found out it can't hurt to get yourself on the waiting list and just show up. Many people fail to show due to other commitments. I have gotten to run once already like this.

Sounds cool ...... now I got myself signed up for both 10-26 and 11-16 ...... what should I do to get the most out of these 2 ? Or should I just pick one and go ?

I kinda dont want to do the same stuff for 175 dollars, but practice makes it perfect

So seat time is just straight up racing with other people and solo is by yourself ? any1 participated in any of these (seat time, group 2, solo .....) would like to share some insights ?

I might go to the one on 11-16 .... not sure yet.

 

Me too. I'm #3 on the Oct 26th wait list and signed up for 11-16. I guess reston2000 generated some business, I wonder if he gets a commision?. I talked with Emily. She said, if I don't get a call about the wait list, I could just show up on 26th and hope to find a space (I think that's what reston2000 did). If I get in I can chose to keep the 11/16 date or use the money for the october date.
