The top on my 2000 S2000 is going to be replaced by my dealer. He'll replace it with a 2003 top, if I can lead him to a dealer to has done it successfully. Failing that, he'll replace it with a 2000 top.

Anyone know of a 2003 top for a 2000 S2K?

And who was the dealer?

Thanks,
Ray

Here is a good look at what the split looks like. This is my '05, and Honda said they would replace it. However, I'm still within my 3 yr. 36,000 mile warranty.

I have a pretty good size tear in the same place as fdc007 on my '04, it's about an inch and a half long. I didn't think to take it by the dealer because it's out of warranty. Do you think they'd replace it if I took it by?

It's certainly worth a shot. Honda has known about this defect for some time. I'm disppointed that they haven't done anything about it yet. How do you keep the rain out?

MY03 with hole on the same spot. Any idea why it seems to be consistently on the right side? I took mine to an upholstershop, where the put a patch on the interior, and black silicon glue on the exterior. It keeps the water out, but makes for an eyesore.

I put blue painters tape over it. Sure it looks like crap, but it keeps the water out.

my friend has holes in his top on his 00 AP1. He used silicone and its definitely leak proof from what I observed
