nice deal , what color on that 03 w/ 615miles ...and was it a demo
they told me it was the owners car, also used in parades and shown off at minor league hockey games, but I dunno. The interior is flawless, the engine runs great. Only thing is, you can tell they used a dealer car wash, as the paint isnt 100% the best....not seriously flawed, just car wash paint. i wasnt too worried because it has the full 3yr/36k

I wouldn't touch it. You can get a 0 mile 05 for $30K and a new 04 for $29K or less
You have no idea what happened in those first miles, and yes there is a warranty good till 36,000 miles. Great, but doesn't your buddy care about 60,000 or 80,000 ?
What happens then if this car was redlined from mile 1 ?
If he really is insistant on this car I'd offer $24K and walk otherwise.

this is NOT a good deal....if it was NEW (not titled) then i'd consider it but this is a USED 1 year old car (regardless of miles). Just get a new MY05 for $2K more.

That's not a good deal at all. I've contacted a few dealerships about left-over new '04s. These cars had less than 15 miles, were never titled, still in the showroom. Without much effort, they dropped the price to $28-$28,500. I probably could have got them to go down even more, but I wasn't ready to buy at the time.
