I'm still praying there won't be a model 05

There will be an 05 and I'm thankful... I've waited a long time.

I understand your opinion, however there are still a few of us who have been true fans since the prototype in the mid 90s that would to purchase brand new.

S2000 Overview
The S2000 which was introduced back in 2000, has remained pretty much unchanged until the latest 2004 model. Upgraded wheels, suspension and 2.2L engine where among the additions.
2005 S2000
With the recent upgrades that were made for 2004, the vehicle should remain the way it is for 2005. There have been some rumors regarding the continuation of the S2000 though. 05 would mark the 6th model year and it is possible the car will not be produced past 2005. A replacement vehicle of some kind would most likely be introduced in its absence.
2005 Release Date

all you people who keep saying that you wish honda would stop production of the S2000 (ie: i hope they don't make 05s!!) are f'ing retards. First off stop being greedy...what if someone who has never owned as S2000 wants to get a new one that some punk ass kid hasn't driven the sh!t out of? and what about yourself? say your S gets totaled or whatever and you want to replace it? now you have to buy a used one. stop being stupid. I want Honda to make the S2000 for a long long time so I can keep replacing mine after it gets too old and starts breaking.

I for one have wanted an S since before they hit the roads. I'm glad I put other financial priorities first (as I could've had the car the first year). And I'm glad I can buy this car brand new AND not have to drive it as a daily driver.
I understand that people want to keep the car rare and keep the resale values high. But if you want to keep your car, who cares about the resale value. I would expect if you like the damn car so much you'd want to keep it. And as far as rarity, in most parts of the US, the average person doesn't even know what brand it is. Therefore, it's rare. But it'll never be the rarity or the icon of some truely exotic cars, so let's stop pretending.
Good comments hellothere! My thoughts exactly.

I saw something about an 05 prototype, although i didn't like it, i'm kinda glad honda isn't making it. They should keep the S2k with the same body design, but do like they have done every year and change something small...
IMO, I love the body of the s2k, although, I would almost want a little more room and storage on the inside. Driving from Florida to Kentucky to Michigan was not the most comfortable experience.

Besides if you get lost trying to find something that's just more time you get to spend driving your S2K.

i would definitely like to have a NAVI in my S
