MY2002 pricing for the S2000 was just received by e-mail from Honda yesterday at our dealership in Massachusetts. The message reads:

"We are pleased to announce the release of the 2002MY S2000. MSRP is as follows:

AP1142ENW 2-DR 2.0 6-speed M/T $32,400.00

Shipping of the S2000 will begin immediately. Destination and handling charges remain unchanged at $440."

Sweet! All those upgrades and they held the line on the price.

 

The pricing is a pleasant surprise, especially with all the upgrades.

I had already budgeted at 2001 MSRP plus 1.5%, so that means my Valentine One will be courtesy of Honda

I am so hoping you are correct. It is not that I don't believe you, it is just much better than I had hoped for.
I'm placing an order for a 2002 Spa Yellow Hardtop in February and have been waiting for the MSRP news.

 

Actually the price increased by $100 over last year. 2001 price was 32,740 (incl. dest.) and it looks like the 2002 price will be 32,840 (incl. dest.).

Not bad all things considered.
