Hello all,

I have a '00 S2000 and it was recently broken into. I want the mechanic to replace the plastic with glass, is this possible??

What do I need to do to make it possible...?

If you want to put an OEM top on, then modification will have to be made to the existing frame, or you'll have to purchase a new frame with the top. There are aftermarket companies that that make glass rear tops that fit the 00 & 01 year models. Cabrioworld.com and Topsonline.com are a few. A lot of the Atlanta guys upgraded to glass rears from topsonline. The top is a Robbins top and the fit is really nice. Plus they run about $450 or so compared to the OEM of $800 I think.

 

Since Insurance will be covering the damage, it looks like I'm on my own on the upgrade...
