Hey guys , just installed an aem v2 intake in my 00... i'm hearing a humming noise coming from where the air filter is (or sounds like it's coming from down there) I have a bypass valve in the system and don't know if this noise is normal or not. Please hellllppp!!!! Pm me!

 

that humming noise is normal, I have an intake as well, and it also makes a humming noise

 

it's pretty damn loud lol It must be sucking in some serious air in comparison to the stock :-P , ok another question and I hope someone can help me with this one too... i've noticed this before I did everything and wanted to know if this is soemthing that needs to be checked out.... after execelerating then letting go of the gas there's a noise coming from either the tranny or the exhaust that sounds like gears grinding... when I push on the clutch it goes away.... any ideas? normal??

I have the same grinding noise, I had a technician look at it and he said it was a heat shield, that it didnt sound anything tranny related, still im skeptical about it so im gonna get a second opinion
