I just took in my car for some TSBs. While at it, I also mentioned the hole and showed the service guy. I simply asked if there is anything that can be done about the soft top. His response? "Sorry, we don't cover cosmetics..." Argh, I hate dealerships. Looks like I'll just buy a newer top later on this year and have my mechanic install it.

 

If anyone is interested, i just recently replaced my '00 soft-top because my plastic window had a hole in it.

So i have an extra '00 soft-top in good condition with a bad plastic window. So if anyone wants to purchase my soft-top and just replace my window with your old window, that would be a cheap fix...
