So you're saying its more upkeep owning the canvas top?
I would imagine that it would be. It just seems that the OEM material just doesn't hold up that well. I used 303 on my last top and it still didn't wear all that well. I've actually been driving with a crappy worn out top for a while now, its embarassing driving with it up =/
The OEM rubberized material of my top rubbed smoothed on many areas. I'm just thinking that the canvas for some reason might not wear down as fast. I'm sure it'll still take a beating from the sun though.
Oh well, I guess we'll see what happens!

I'm thinking about going canvas too when my top wears out, but that will be a long time from now. I really like the feel and dark look of a canvas top. Sucks to maintain and clean though.

How often?

Just the other night someone came over to buy my exhaust and he asked when I had my top replaced. Mine looks new still.

I can't blame the guys going for canvas over viinyl , it does look a lot better. But at the same time I have the strong feeling that Vinyl will last longer with the same amount of care.
If you decide to go with canvas, spend twice the time in cleaning and care and hope for equal longivity. GL

No pics yet, but I'll be sure to post some up when I get the top installed

My buddy that was supposed to help with the install will be in Vegas this weekend so it looks like I might be solo'ing it...

I guess not enough
I only did it when I washed and waxed my car at my buddys house...he had a bottle of the stuff.
Seeing as how delicate and expensive the top really is, I'll be taking a lot better care of the new one.
