I really don't see how its cold air intake, it still sits in the engine bay, like the stock air box.

I like it because you don't need to cut/drill anything to install and changing the filter is a cinch, unlike the Injen/AEM.

I'm really waiting for independent dyno plots on this intake. Should be mighty interesting. I can't believe DC Sports hasn't come out with an intake yet.

Injen CAI, AEM CAI and now Comptech! Arghh!

It sucks air from the fender area - not from the engine bay. I think CT may have taken tube resonance effects into account better than the AEM version.

I Just ordered mine.

They hope to start shipping them out by Friday of this week. Finalizing the instructions and what not.

I will be Replacing my AEM with the Comptech.

I like the AEM, However I am starting to think I may have an engine problem. I have had a loud ticking like sound since the car was new(sounds like valve noise)...Now 6500 miles. I have now listened to four other s2ks with varying mileage and none of them are this noisy.

I am hoping the Honda dealer won't give me any trouble about the Comptech, since they offer brand new cars with Comptech parts on them with full warrantee.

THIS IS FUNNY AS HELL . I CAN'T REMEMBER IF IT WAS SPOON OR SOME OTHER TUNERS THAT INVESTED MORE THAN 30K (NOT SURE THE EXACT #) TO GET LIKE 13 OR 15 HP N/A OUT OF THE S. IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE COMPTECH CAN GET 9HP OUT OF THE "ALREADY PEAK" 2L ENGINES WITH JUST A DAMN FILTER AND TUBE. HONDA ENGINEERS MUST BE REALLY STUPID NOT ABLE TO THINK OF THIS DESIGN.
