Hey, I am new hear.. but am just wondering.. what is better for the s2000.. a vortech supercharger or any other.. or a cybernation turbo? or any other turbo..
www.cybernationmotorsports.com

and I realize the s2000's compression ratio is quite high, 11.1:1, but that could be changed so overall which is better?

Tedow: thanks for the info, and i am thinking you are right. What do you think about the comptech CAI? I saw that and thought it looked like a good alternative to the AEM.

I am really interested in doing the supercharger down the line. How safe is that for our engines? I mean is it a fairly "simple" drop in? Or are there reliability issues? (I only ask because this car is my daily driver).

Thanks for your help everyone.

The 2 currently available S/C kits has been around for a while now (Comptech longer than Vortech) and have a good track record.
I'm not familiar with the "cybernation turbo" and am not sure it has any proven stats for an S2000. Even with the 2 kits that have already been sold for this car, those who have it have had their share of nightmarish tuning issues just to get them to run. If you feel adventurous and have the money, a turbo will ultimately give you more low end grunt but are you willing to go through the baptism by fire?

The 2 kits can be bolt on and go although if you are uncertain about how it's running, you should get a dyno run it and check the a/f profile.
