it's actually pretty common, from what i've read, for people to break in their new cars with a long interstate drive.

just don't go WOT and over 5500 and brake too much suddently. also vary ur engine speed on the highway a little bit (60-75) and u should be perfectly fine.

but the dings and rock chips....and possibly a thousand pound of bug carcass

I have about 360 miles on my new 06' I picked up a week ago.. WOW, this thing is a BLAST to drive, never been in a car this fun...

However, tonight, I drove the car a little hard, rev'd it to 7k a couple times, while being WOT for a few seconds..

Did this hurt my S2K? After reading all the posts here, I regret doing it!

reminds me of this guy. got an evo 9 and his family cant afford insurance for him . so its garged untill he either sells it or gets a high paying job which wont be for a while since he just graduated from high school. i think all his money from current job is going to the payment of the evo

It's fine to drive the S. We do dealertrades on brand new S2000's all the time.. and the salespeople really rape on the cars. You can just imagine. =X
