New S2000..How long to brake in? Limits?
Just bought a beautiful 2002 Silver and Black Honda S2000. Was told that first 500 miles I should drive it easy and not go over 5,000rpms. Wanted to get some other opinions. Very hard to not drive this car hard. It is begging to be let loose. Checked the library pages but did not see this question answered.
Appreciate any insight and advice.

You are absolutely correct. How can the break-in information not be in the library?
DarioManfretti has the right information. Take it easy, don't go over 5500 RPM until you have hit 600 miles. Those 600 miles must not be at a constant speed. Don't go driving on the highway and think you're getting out of this easy.
Mix it up with drives through the city, neighborhoods, and freeway. You'll get there faster than you think.

Yep, read the owner's manual cover-to-cover, also check the Library tab here and I think you might've missed a bunch of stuff on frequent questions...
Best wishes, Hobb. You are SOOOOOO right. The car is just begging to scream. Not until 600 miles or more, and constantly keep your eye on the oil level (every tank fill).

I was looking thru the Library tab (FAQs) and I really didn't find anything specific. There's mention about the oil (https://www.s2ki.com/article/articleview/6/1/4/).
I think the break-in period must've been in other forums. Anyway, again, best wishes.
