It seems like I'm finally moving on to an s2k from 01TL...I am very close to getting one and need a little information...

I have noticed no major difference in 00-03s...a honda salesman told me bumper has been changed slightly on the 03s...I thought 00-03 are all alike except few interior upgrades...and 04 with new design both ext. and int. (still very 00-03 look alike)

I have heard tranny failure problems on 01

help the noob...thanks

 

02+ gives you a Glass rear window, slightly upgraded stereo, upgraded ECU, and updated tranny.

You can search under "clutch buzz" to get an idea what the tranny problem is about thought not all -02 have it.

The bumper hasn't been changed until the 04 so I'm not sure what thats all about.

I was looking at a 01, but I'm gonna seek for a 02 for that glass rear window...i never liked the blurriness of the rear...thanks
