Default newbie ? about the rear window

greetings,
this is my first post. sorry if this was beaten to death. i tried a search but i couldnt get what i was looking for.

anyway, i'm interesting in buying an S....i like the 01 GPW with the red/black interior, but i dont like the plastic rear window. is it possible to install a new top with a glass window on a model that has the plastic?

thanks,

Yes, it's possible. You can get a complete new OEM top with the glass window and do the conversion or there is a company that sells an aftermarket top with a glass window for this car.

Sorry, I can't give you any links. The search doesn't work for me either. Check out the FAQs at the top of some of the forums. There may be something written up in one of those sections. (Don't forget to look at the top of Technical - UTH)

There is a number of threads on this topic, but the search function isn't working for me either or I'd post some links....
