i had that on my 04 rear when i still had it

 

I've had four AP2's and they all had it.
When I first saw it I wonder what the hell it was!
I've come to the conclusion it is some sort of stiffener to stop the rear bumper flexing, it does go right over to the other exhaust but doesn't come up as far

 

downforce during vtec

 

My buddy has one with two screws in it. Is this a dual screwed flux cap?
