Click the pic to see it full size. Sorry about the cell phone pic quality.

I got what I feel is a good deal for my first choice color @ $22K. This price includes a GMPP 3/36 bumper-to-bumper warranty, 2 new Potenza RE960AS balanced and mounted, lifetime car (hand) washes, lifetime $25 Mobil 1 oil changes (my filter) and a new Honda battery.

The car is flawless.

Get what you want. I am sure you can negotiate a little bit, but if its affordable and you really want it than by all means do it

I know that car. That belonged to a salesman that worked with me at Bankston. He leased it from the dealership in 2007.

It wasn't an executive lease, US bank had a lease program in 2007 so they may have called it a "corporate lease." But it was an individual. I think he's in his mid 30's. He leased it and in year two of his lease had a baby. He turned the car back in but he really wanted to keep it. He turned it back into Bankston and we would have liked to resold it but US Bank is weird because they lease payoff is inflated and they prefer to take their lumps at the auction. It's nice to see that car stay in TX.

Car was never modified. You got a nice car there.

Dang man, you have a good eye!

This is the car you say it is as it was originally leased from your dealership.

Was the owner Vietanamese? I found some paperwork with the name 'Troung' attached to this VIN so I wonder if he was the PO. *EDIT* I found his full name "Tom Truong" on an oil filter receipt.

Anyway, he apparently cared for it really well, going so far as to include the completed maintenance book recording all the service work, including receipts. I can't find a single nick or ding anywhere in the paint which as you know, is near impossible in Dallas.

One mystery I would like to solve is that it looks like the car sat for a long time at one point in its life as there was an oil change on 12/18/08 @ 20K miles, but it only has 23K miles on it now. Evidence of this period can be seen on the wheels, which have (removable) light streaks of rust from the lug nuts...all four wheels have the streaks going the same direction relative to each other which suggests the car was parked somewhere for an extended period. The battery was also original, and very near death which also adds credence to my "parked" theory.

Thanks again for all your assistance and kind words. The first beer is on me when we finally meet in person.

*EDIT2* He saved every scrap of paper that ever shipped with this car, but I can't find the key-code tag. Oh well.

Nice man but just a comparison i would have sold you my 08 rioyellow CR with a little less than 22k miles for $25k or maybe less if we talked.

Well that is a fair price, but I was not in the market for a CR.

The "hardtop only" thing is a deal breaker for me.
