-Official- Is this car worth it thread - vol. 2
Personally I'd like one with less than 100K miles, but 13k for that one, assuming it all checks out (meaning have someone do a used car inspection) then yeah, I think it's a great deal. I'd be on that like a fat kid on cake!
P.S. Tan is a somewhat rare and REALLY nice looking interior. You could probably sell it in 2-3 years and get 13k for it, assuming you don't put a lot of miles on it.

Really considering it since GPW is such a rare color to come by.. the seller lives about 4 hrs from me, and he said the first person to give him 12,000 takes the car. Im debating on either this, or to keep on looking for a lower mileaged ap2 <70k miles for around 15,000.
Hello All-
I am meeting with the owner today of a 2004 BB with just over 40K miles on the clock. Has a spot-free Carfax and has been garaged its whole life. One owner.
I have not seen the car in person yet but have spoken with the owner multiple times and turns out he's an older gentlemen who bought it in his late 50's as a birthday present but increasing back problems have made it too difficult to get in and out which is why he is selling it. In fact, in the past year the car has basically been kept in storage (only driven several times a month to keep the engine in good condition).
Have no pics but the owner says the paint is currently a 9/10 and the car has been regularly waxed and detailed. No rips or tears in the top. Tires have less than 1K miles on them.
Maintenance has always only been done by Honda and included is a 22 month or 38K mile extended warranty (which is nice). Everything is stock except for an aftermarket radio.
From what I gather, there are no mechanical problems the only issues are cosmetic. There is a rip in the driver's seat at the seam, a few dings and scratches on the body from shopping carts, doors, etc. and the driver's side door speaker needs to be replaced (total cost to fix estimate ~$1,000).
Seller is asking $17K. Is this a good deal? If not, where would you come in at?

I dunno about 17k for that. It all really depends on where you are located. I live in cali and bought my 03 with 30K on it for 13K. Granted it is a year older. I think if you came in offering 15K to start and see how much the guy wants to sell the car. Its easier to work low to high then high to low.
