Grand prix white is a rare color! I would say that is a good deal based off of the mileage, but make sure to check the car title/history and take into account any mishaps on the condition of the car! Good luck and be patient, and the s2k will come to you!

I paid $12k for my stock ’00 GPW with 56k this past January. Mine still has the original top (plastic window, but in good condition) and I purchased it in winter, so that can impact pricing (along with the location).

Grand Prix White with the all black interior wasn't an option in 2001. Sounds like someone did a swap. Although a guy back then told me he ordered that color option from Japan - I still don't believe him.

Congrats on the car - sounds like a good deal. Post pictures!

Not bad considering mileage and prices for the S have been inching up. I got my 2002 Sebring (glass rear window) from a Honda dealer in Feb of this year for $14,200 in Connecticut. Considering it only had 55k miles, 1 adult owner and location and dealer, I think I got off cheap.

I know a lot of people here have gotten some GREAT deals in the past on the S, I just don't see those deals in NYC area unless car is totally busted and abused.

Just a precaution; torque down your spark plugs to specs. The previous owner of my S didn't torque down anything to spec, and the spark plugs were one of them. One of the spark plugs blew up(literally) sending debris into the cylinders scoring the cylinder walls. I ended up replacing the entire engine.

Hey guys , just wanted your opinion on the following vehicle

2003 AP1 NFR with 90,000 miles.

no accidents/clean title
soft top with glass
US import into canada in 2006
stock

The front bumper has some minor scratches, other than that is good shape.

asking $12,000 cdn.

I was really looking for a GPW/BB but they're quite rare in my area.

Thanks

2005 one owner with 125,000 miles. All stock from a Honda dealer from what I can see. It looks like all the service was done by the same selling dealer since day one. However, the last dealer visit record according to carfax was 25,000 miles ago. No record since. Everything looks good for it's age. Tires maybe 30% life. Far from new, but acceptable.

$14,000. Is this a fair price?

KBB list it at $15,500.

This is my first post so please excuse me for not knowing about S2K. On other Hondas, we would ask about the timing belt and water pump at 90K. If it's dealer serviced, it's safe to say that it was done? I know we should never assume. If I ask, I'm sure the salesman would tell me anything (and lie), dealer performed the "recommended" service. Are there key service items I should make sure it was done for this car??

Thank you.

If it was service at the same dealership go to the Service dept and they can pull up the entire service history on the vehicle. Great info to have and usually quite detailed.

FYI the S2000 has a timing chain not a belt.

Hey Guys,

Posted this yesterday but in the wrong section so here it goes.

Looking for a Suzuka blue with the all blue interior, so that keeps me under a 2006 (I believe thats when they went to some black in the interior) Though I like the idea of the flash pro for the 06+. I realize that both AP1 and AP2 have their merits, so it really doesn't make much of a difference, I might be a little partial to the AP1 for the 9k, but the AP2 has some updates that I like. My primary requirement is low miles, like under 25k. Only hitch is that I live in South Florida, and all of the cars that I've found are a few hours flight away, which I don't have a problem with when purchasing, but unfortunately I can't fly around to test drive each one. Anyway, I've found a 2003 Suzuka, all blue, with 6500 miles, second owner, pretty much mint, hes asking 19,500 but says he won't go less than $18,500. NADA puts this thing around $15,500, and Edmunds even lower, and thats including the 6500 miles. I'm also looking at a 2005 with ~23k miles, hes asking $18,800. And another, its a 2004 with a hard top, and 31k miles, asking $25,000 (says negotiable).

Any and all thoughts and opinions welcome, Thanks in advance.
