You do not have to agree, I am not sure why you asked if you did not want responses. Not one car I looked at over $20K had more then 40K miles. I turned down a 2006 LBP with 30K miles one owner (70 year old lady) with ALL records and MINT condition for $23.5. I ended up with a one owner 2005 Silver/Red with 23K miles, all records and Hard Top for around $25K. The hardtop is worth $3K minimum so to me it was the same price as the other one in a color combo I preferred. I would deduct $1K for every 10K miles and an additional 1-2K for curbed wheels and stuff.

Good luck regardless, I do like the White, it can not hurt to ask $20K. Looks like you paid $16K in 2009 so you are making out great regardless. I hope you get it, this might be the only car I have had that holds it value this good. That is one reason I bought an S2000 over another Porsche.

-2005 s2000

-Second owner. Original owner traded this into the dealership for an Accord.
-I've owned since 2009. No accidents.
-Brand new softop. This is the second time I have replaced it. ~$2000 installed
-Seats redone with new foam
-2016 style Alpine Bluetooth headunit
-Modifry stereo controls
-Recently replaced clutch, throttle body, starter, battery, engine mounts, etc with OEM parts at the dealership.
-Never drilled for front license plate
-AZ car it's whole life - no rust
-Never tracked
-Garaged most of its life
-Never left me stranded.
-100% stock

The bad-
-Rear bumper has a small ding
-Some chips in the paint
-Driver seat has a little fading
-Wheels all have curb rash
Just for reference, recently bought an 2006 GPW with 55k miles on it 2nd or 3 owner car, very good condition for 19k. Highly doubtful that you'd get 20k, even over here in the PNW where the S2k's are going for a premium. But hope for the best.

Agreed as well, if you're willing to pay 13.5k$ for a car, you better dot your i's and cross your t's when making a purchase. I'd keep looking too

Looking for pricing feedback on my car. 2002 NFR with 48k original miles, 3 owners, garaged, no winters, clean title, one parking lot fender bender. Car is turbo with a built motor, usual supporting mods. Stock exterior with a couple small dings, interior is in great condition with minimal wear. Never daily driven. Thinking about asking low 20s. Thoughts?

Hello, I'm hoping to get your opinions on two s2000s I'm interested in. I'll be using the car as a daily driver but I have a short commute and only drive 6-7k miles a year. Also, this'll be my first car that wasn't bought from a family member so any concerning items you notice in the listings that I may have overlooked would be much appreciated I will of course get a pre-purchase inspection with any car. Anyway, the first one is a 2002 with 37k miles, the 'eprice' is 19,481 so I'm assuming I could get it for at least somewhat less than that since it has been sitting on the lot for a couple weeks:

The second one is a private party sale, also a 2002 but with 134k miles though it looks to be in good shape. Seller is asking 10k:

Also a more general question: low mileage s2000s clearly sell at a rich premium as exemplified by these 2 listings. I can afford a lower mileage car, but is it worth paying so much more for an s2000 with low miles, given that it is a Honda? I drove a Civic for 6 years and it had no more problems with 150k than it did with 20k, but not sure if the s2000 is as indestructible.

Thanks very much!

The S2000 is usually pretty reliable when maintained properly, so if the 10k one is more in your budget then go for it, as long as the inspection checks out. Personally I would prefer the lower mileage one though.

Mine is at 185K and has given me 0 issues in the 9 years I've had it. I wouldn't hesitate to get a higher mileage S if it looks as if it's in good shape and garage kept. Upkeep is the key. Look for signs of neglect and rough treatment.

Any thoughts on this S2000? The free vehicle history report says that it has a total of 6 owners though! The mileage is okay (155k) and I'll be driving approx 10k miles a year on it. Might also be able to haggle on the price a little as the car has been sitting for around a month or two.

Looks in very good shape, but that is not an exceptional price. Expect to put a couple of thousand dollars into it, and hope there are no serious issues. And the ad says 115K miles -- a lot different that 155K. Top? Tires? Brakes? Clutch? Transmission? Rust? Paint issues? It could be a money pit, or it could be dang near perfect.

What do you guys think of 2008 S2000 with 26k Miles on it.
Guy is asking $24500 but has modifications "All stock except K & N air filter and dual magnaflow mufflers"
Is this not being stock cause problems later on when selling it? (Since I plan to keep it for max 2 years)
