If this car was clean and solid it would be worth $16K, start subtracting the costs to get it there. Frame damage will never go away as far as value.

IMHO, if you paid $ 7k and didn't mind the additional costs and aggravation you might have something but there are better ways to get an S2000.

As an old car guy who travels rural NY, I notice Jaguar XJSs, Porsche 928s and Benzs etc sitting among weeds in front of modest dwellings. We can all figure out that story
Agreed, 06+ with 90k seems to be right around $16k avg from what I've seen.

I'm looking at this car for a non-daily driver/autocross car. It has a lot of miles, and is really old, but its a 1 owner and it looks in fantastic shape. Can you guys give me some thoughts on his price and what to look for if i go look at it? Also, how much would you offer?

I'd buy that one in a heartbeat BUT - I would have a compression test done and check for any body rust/rot before I plunked down the cash.

I sold my 2007 Silverstone last year for $24,800. Original owner, 10,500 miles, all original. Was this a fair price for both parties?

Fair for you, good for the buyer in 2016.
I would have held out for more if I was selling it today.

Thoughts on this car: https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/c...360214278.html

Emailed with owner quite a bit. He's a 30+ year bodyshop guy and has owned many AP2's. He seems to know all about them and confirms there wasn't any structural damage to the car. Owner (lady) had someone pull the oil plug and she burned the engine up. He found an 08 with 24k miles (sent me a pic of dash of that car) and decided to do a complete swap and sell the current trans in the car separate.

It seems like it could be a good deal, of course need to go drive it and talk to him, but even with it being an 07 with only 34k miles, because of its history and rebuilt title seems hard for me to want to pay much more than $13k for it. Thoughts?

Default 2003 with 150k miles - clean title $9300

This CL ad doesn't come with pics. It's stock except for BC coilovers and has a repairable roof leak. I'm trying to schedule with the owner who has been difficult, which is why I think the car is still on the market.

I was thinking $8500 is fair considering it needs a new roof, if there's nothing else wrong.

?

Seems very high to me, when I looked last year I had a one owner LBP with 30K miles, all records and great condition I could've bought for $23.5.

maybe the market went up a little???
