Yeah you're probably right. I saw LBP and less than 20k. The car has probably been run through the ringer.

Thoughts on this? No price yet. Not sure what's going on with the front bumper dings/dents. '09's seem to command a premium, but with 91k miles I have to wonder how much?

That's actually not too bad of a price, but it would need a closer look. Being an 09, it's going to fetch 20k. It would need a closer look to see actual condition. The front bumper looks pretty dinged, and with kind of damage/kinks it would need to be replaced. Drivers seat is hammered as well.

If you are interested, it's not a bad price for an 09, but check it out well.

Yeah, I had them send me some pics with more detail. The bumper definitely needs replaced.

Why are the '09s so special? Just because there are so few of them and they're the newest (youngest car)? I feel like an '04-05 in this condition/mileage is about $15k. Don't think I'm interested in this at $21k as it doesn't seem like it's in too great of shape.

09s always command the highest price for exactly that reason. Last run, newest units.

Keep looking. There is always another one out there. I searched for over a year and when I found the right one, I just knew it. If it doesn't feel right, keep looking.

Yeah that comment bothered me too. My first S was a 2004 with 116k milies on it still on the original diff. The only thing were the diff mounts needed to be changed but thats hardly a 5k fix.

Default 03 79k miles

I went and looked at this 03 https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...4078381054638/
I checked what I could suspension seems tight no cel ( he had battery disconnected?) Says it's a weekend car. He also had a very modded sti. The roof needs to be replaced the trunk has had a wing removed and it has a veilside hood. It shifted ok and oil needed changing. He said in the year he had it he never over reved it. Would you guys walk away.

Get a PPI done. Personally I’d walk away based on the hood and wing removal but it seems like a good price if you’re okay with those two things.

2006 with 36k miles. Has damage (“damage” not “accident”) reported on carfax and VIN tags missing on both ride side fenders and painted over on the passenger door.

Drivers seat needs repair/recovering. Top has small tear but does not leak. Thoughts on what a fair price is? Also needs new tires.

clean bill of health from local Honda dealer. No frame damage.

Seems a lot wrong cosmetically. I'm curious if he either was heavy into modding or heavy into tracking due to the lower miles but with all the damage around the car. Personally i'd walk away even with the low mileage, but if you plan on replacing all the damage anyways as a DIY, i wouldnt pay more than 12k for the car.
