Official Is This Car Worth It Thread vol 3
The car looks great in the photos and the top appears to have been repaired although it seems to need the elastic retraction straps renewed.
You need to be happy with a car that's not "matching numbers" (replaced fender) something that's desirable but not necessary.
Check your market for value. You have to decide if a car that's a couple thousand more expensive but lacking these defects is better for you. I held out for a DBW car and remain glad I did.

Also, I personally would not put my trust into the word of the person who did the maintenance. I am NOT saying that I automatically assume he's lying. I'm just saying that I would have an independent inspection done by an experienced shop/mechanic who is being paid by me and is therefore in no way beholden to the seller or feels a need to cover his own reputation as a mechanic who did the work on the car previously.
Best wishes to you in your search!
ok so i am in the market an s2000 and wanted some advice. the first one i am looking at https://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/ctd/5190083692.html has 3 accidents on it but the price is pretty nice. not a fan of the "redneck" on the front window. the 2nd car http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...07162334&Log=0 it is a bit older but has no accidents on it. is there a clear better choice here?
You didn't notice any of that?
