Still searching for my perfect s2000 - low milage, GPW/tan, post '05 car.

Going to check another car this weekend,
' 05, GPW with tan inside, 40k miles, clean CF, 4 prev owners.
Price 24k at the dealer.

Thoughts about price - fair / high / low?
PPI in new Jersey, any recommendations about where to perform?

Really like the car, but price feels a bit high,
Thoughts?

Price seems a bit high given the mileage and 4 previous owners. Myself and another member on this forum both purchased 2005 S2ks from an Acura dealer in Jersey for just over $24k - both cars only had 6k miles on them.

Concur with Spagolli94, price seems high for year/mileage/owners. Maybe dealer hasn't gotten serious yet about dealing.

In that case,
what can be a fair price?
i want the car but i dont want to over pay for it
(and another issue - im a huge sucker for GPW with Tan interior, do i have better chances to wait for a lower milage car to pop up anywhere in the east-coast / mid of the country?)

GPW is a much sought after color, so there is a little bit of a price premium for it. I would think the '05 you are looking at should be $20k +/- since it from a dealer and assuming everything checks out.

For reference, here was an '05 GPW that was for sale privately in CT. Was listed in the S2Ki classifieds. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/113...18k-48k-miles/ If this one was closer to me I would have looked at it and probably bought it.

$12k.
2001.
Silverstone/Red.
62k miles.

Paint/interior are each about a 7/10.

Rear quarter has a pretty nasty door ding right around wheel well that will prob cost $500ish to deal with.

Mechanically....perfect.

Rust.....not even a little.

Holy-moly, I will have to seriously reassess what S2Ks are worth/bringing.
