Thinking about buying a 2003 s2000 grand prix white 67k miles,1 owner polished/chrome ap1 wheels, tan interior. Owner is throwing in a brand new oem front lip on gpw that he has had since he bought it which I know has been long discontinued.

Bads are a few paint chips and only 2 dents, drivers seat bolster is worn, all vins match but drivers fender and bumper the car was backed into and insurance replaced them thought it was very minor damage. Top is very nice and has one very very small pin sized hole that was covered up.

So I found a car I may take a look at tomorrow and would like everyones help.

2001 berlina black s2000
clean title

Mods-rays volk bronze ce28s (18x9)
Sumitomo 215/45 with 80% tread
Ap2 muffler with euro mod
Rolloface adjustable Coilovers (couldnt find any info on these, but rolloface is a pretty decent company I thought)
Fenders are rolled/pulled

The bad-
Soft top stopped working (claims it could just be a fuse, I dont believe that until I check it out)
Right headlight doesn't work (tire rubbed and frayed wiring) (easy fix)
Exhaust bushing is gone so exhaust rattles at idle (easy fix)
Car was in fender bender so front bumper is new and only primered. (Not too much of an issue for me as long as I can see behind the bumper and dont see any other damage, and that the car is straight and fender/hood/bumper gaps line up well)
Guage cluster was replaced with one with higher miles (or atleast owner claims) (don't actually know how many miles on car) could run vin to find out (this worries me ALOT) its another thing i am going to have to dig into in person and figure out the real story.

Asking $6500 i am prepared to pay 4750-5250.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

2007 laguna blue S2K with 69k miles. Mods: enkei NT-03 wheels 18x9.5 all around. He will include the stock wheels as well. Custom intake, skunk2 headers, invidia exhaust w/custom tips. Alpine head unit and upgraded door speakers with JL 10w6 in stealth box and amp. Also has oem lip and spoiler and a brand new soft top. Price without wheels, amp, and subwoofer is $16,500. He's asking $18,000 with all mods. I'm leaning more towards getting it without amp and sub and what not but I'm worried about crappy wiring. I'm trying to get the $ together for it but what do you guys think about the pricing? I think it's a steal and I'd like to get it for around 15k without the mods since his price is obo.

So I've been looking for a AP2, low mileage. Recently came across a 2001 Silverstone with 21k miles, $15k. Carfax and autocheck is clean, but seller mentioned that somebody backed into the front bumper, and it was repainted. Stored during winters, black interior is clean.

You guys think this is worth it? I'm slowly leaning towards this, but a part of me wants to stay firm and continue to look for a low mileage, clean AP2.

Thanks guys!

I personally wouldnt want a 00-01 those are the 'growing pains' years. Also nice low mileage AP1 high side is around the AP2 low mileage low side. Might not get 21K AP2 but you should be able to get 35K ish, depending on location. But you really want a glass rear window at the very least.
