Is the car worth it to you? New soft top is nice and aftermarket wheels could be sold and swapped back to OEM. Vehicle history and maintenance records come in to play as well. If everything checks out, I think $14k is fair for sure.

I'm looking at a 2000 s2k with 66k miles body is rough with hail damage, needs new top, new fender, has a noise coming from the transmission tunnel and p2035 code but I can grab it for around $5k. Not sure if it is worth the hassle to fix it all.

Seems to be $3k ++ worth of repairs. The question is, would the hassle be worth it to you to have a sub-par $8K+ 16 year old ca? Or can you find something for a couple thousand more that is ready to drive? Track car = sounds like a decent deal.

hey guys i ended up not being very happy with the sales team that i posted about earlier this month and found another GPW

2007 GPW / blk&red interior
59,000 miles
NO ACCIDENTS
all body panels VIN match
Factory GPW hardtop
Never modified (that i can see)

I havent seen the condition of the soft top but the salesman told me it was replaced by last owner so basically new. i also havent seen the underbody but when i drove it it felt very stable and nothing out of the ordinary. I also have no maint records from previous owners

25,500

its local should i pull the trigger?

thanks guys!

MY 2009
8855 miles
chicane silver metallic/black
original owner/only driver
no modifications/original condition/no accidents
Always garaged/never driven in snow or rain/ only driven spring and summer months
The car is like new, taking up space in the garage, time to sell
Suggestions on pricing and where to sell (forum, cl, etc) would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone

Currently looking at this car. Car fax does report an accident, but the title is clean. Looks like the passenger fender was replaced. Also the top has some tears that have been repaired and it has been lowered via springs. Overall it's very clean. The price is in line with others in the area including Seattle.

2003 Honda S2000. 80k miles. Super Clean. $15991

That is an excellent price. Especially being local and from a dealer? I would pull that trigger, bro. Very desirable color combo too.

Personally, I would try to knock it down to around 23.5. Take away the hard top value (around 3500) and that leaves it at a 20k car, which is how I see that car worth. However, an 07 in that color combo is very hard to find. Try to talk them down a little bit, but if they don't, don't immediately pass on it. It's still a relatively good deal, if truly unmolested.
