yet another reason that I took that retarded looking eyesore off of the S
That "retarded looking eyesore" is a piece of well designed engineering that reduces lift at the back of your car significantly and improves overall airflow. What this means is at higher speeds, the car will stay much more stable and give you a more confident feel in cornering. It does this by straigtening the airflow and keeping it in contact with the body until it passes over the trunk lid. (simplistic explanation, I know)

Granted, at speeds you are likely to see daily on the street, the difference is small, but for those of us that use the car as it is intended to be used, the difference is very easy to feel.

This is not some ricer wing. It actually serves a significant purpose on this car, as does the front bumper spoiler, so mine will stay where they are. If you want to hobble your car, go right ahead.

I have heard a metallic rattling noise coming from the engine at exactly 5500 rpm, passing that it gone or perhaps the elevated RPM noise drowns it out. Could it be the heat shield ? I am going to have a dealer take a look. Anyone might have experience the same thing ?

Hi guys. Went to the dealer today and the MSRP on the Cr was 39.XXX with 77 mles on an 08 Cr black. I ask about the price of the car, to see if I could even be interested. Runs away for a sec. and comes back with the keys for a test drive. Loved the car. (even tho my rsx is faster) it handled was amazing. I went inside and they ran my credit at first and said i needed a cosigner. I found one. They give me an offer for 32800 out the door, I think. Said will drop 1000 more if he has too. What should i do? I want to take it, but do you guys think I could get him lower.

Also just wondering does anyone know if this car out handles the 350 Nismo. Haven't driven it yet.

Help me out guys.

May be too late, but if you aren't experienced with high reving motors, you really have to drive it right up through 8000 rpm's to get a good feel for the car. Otherwise, you just don't get the WHOLE experience.

First time I ever let a good friend of mine drive my 2002, he had been used to VW's. Nice cars, but not nearly as willing to rev as our cars. He took it out and came back 10 minutes later with a weird look on his face. I thought, "Oh hell, what did he hit?"...

But he was just dissapointed... I asked how far into the tach he got, and he said "Oh, well over 5000 rpm's"... I just laughed and told him to take it back out and DRIVE the thing. He came back 20 minutes later with a completely different impression of the car. That VTEC hit isn't for everyone, but if you like it, you get addicted.

Yeah, our engines are just too OLD for that new fangled stuff... Maybe IF there is a next S, iVTEC will be part of the fun.

Of course it may be on a 1.0L 3 banger that drives a generator to make electrical power to move the car!!!...
