Anyone know the best way to clean the seats? All my previous cars, including my AP1 were leather. I have the bad habit of sitting on brake dust covered rims when I change to and from race pads and race tires.
I usually wear warm up pants when getting dirty setting stuff up. Then take them off before getting in.

I'm workin on it... It's a BIG job. Hardest part is working out the wiring and keeping the rear tower bar with the soft top. I'll post some pics soon.

Anybody de-badge their CR? I am looking for the CR emblems from another car for another little project. Basically, I feel I've changed my CR so much that it really deserves a new designation. What do you think? Constructive ideas or criticism only please...

I'm planning to have this sewn into the headrest in the Yellow/gold thread and possibly on the Shift boot or maybe on the radio door OR etched into the LED illuminated cabin wind deflector? Any other tasteful ideas?

Another idea was to use this...

Or maybe this?...

would the soft top mod be easy w/o any electrics? I dont care if it goes up/down with the button, i just want it to be covered and locked when the hardtop is off. Oh and while i dont like any 3 of the options, the 3rd one stands out for some odd reason (in a good way)

It certainly would be easier but still not simple. You'll need the top and all the trim pieces behind the seats in the standard car. In addition, you'll need to trim the tray the top folds into so that it fits around the strut bar. If you don't care about all that, then it's a fairly simple matter of taking the rear cabin area apart and inserting the top frame into the corner gussets where the hardtop catchers are. With the service manual as a guide, it's not so difficult. One thing making mine more a challenge is my CR was without AC/Radio, so a lot of the wire harnesses are unique to that car only. When Honda deleted the AC and radio, they deleted a lot of wiring as well, and some of the wires you would not imagine would have anything to do with the softtop actually does. I'm adding the AC back to the car as well.

I thought about making it a manual top too in order to avoid the weight of the motors, but then I weighed the motors and figured it was worth 8 lbs to have it be power operated.

Tasty , but nonetheless. Read the FAQ.

Suffice it to say that this dealership is willing to bargain.

And dude, you better really OWN that CR that you're claiming in your profile or else you're getting a big boot.
