FYI
There is an '08 Apex Blue CR that's about 20 minutes away from me. I spoke to the dealer and $31,777 is what they are currently asking. I got them down to $30,777 but that still seems to be high.

I wonder what '09 CRs are running as we approach the end of the year. I'm still torn on what to get next.. regular '09 or '08/'09 CR. This would be my third s2000.
I already sold mine but about Six month ago I got it brand new for 27200 before Tax, title, ect so I hope this helps... I am in Atlanta GA

Did you buy yours in '08 as an '08 or in '09 as an '08?

I figured the prices would stablize at some point as well but regular '09s are going for invoice.... except for a few dealers who think they have a Ferrari on their showroom and not a Honda

Get the CR! You've had an AP1 and an AP2, so this is the next step. Then you can say things like "I've owned all 3 and the CR is better/faster/cooler/etc."

But yeah, that price does seem high. I think Mchester is right about the prices in general going up. But it should be getting colder soon so that might help (although it might hurt the sale of your car).

I currently sold my 3rd s2000 and looking for the "right" black or white CR for my 4th car.

It's almost 2010 and trying to find a good deal on an 08 CR if possible but I know the colors I want are going to be tough to get. If anyone knows leads on a clean CR in those colors let me know.

With the market and demand I'm willing to pay around mid 20's for one depending on mods/condition.

Don't care where the car is located as long as it's in the lower 48 states.

Back in May I bought an 08 Blue CR. Started tracking it last month. Everything is still stock. Have about 5K miles. My home track is H2R in Austin,TX. It is a 1.8 mile road track with 11 turns. 4 high speed sweepers and 6 slower turns.

At the track I was supprised to see that the CR's tendency is to understeer. I see it most on medium speed (3rd gear) corners. I have tried trailing throttle to get some oversteer, but still find it a challenge to get oversteer. I have been running the stock tires at 32 psi cold which seems to be about 40 psi hot.

I am coming from a SC 99 Miata that was a lot more tail happy.

Wanted to get input on driving style and potentially alignment changes to help get the car to be more neutral to slightly tail loose. I am installing the SPC adjustable ball joints this weekend so I can get as much front chamber as needed.

Have been enjoying the CR and plan to track it frequently. Thanks !

There is a dealer in Reading that has an '09 and an '08 Apex Blue CR. Not sure if they are going down on price at all but it still seems high.

Good point.. ap1, ap2, (but no ap2 v2 )

Trailbraking helps, but I would recommend changing the stagger of your tires if you haven't already (ie, no stagger).
