I like that it is unique to the CR.
There are two that I have been eyeing for quite some time.. Both are '08s.
I'd take a hard look at a berlina CR but given how well I treated my '05 berlina (swirl mark central), I'm going to steer clear and go with a different color...

Monty: any update on whether or not you were able to get a soft top to work on the CR? (there is a CR down the street from you for sale.. well, relatively close to you)

Must not have seen one in person. I love the blue in person. Well i really like all the CRs white the most and next would be my rio. If it was not for black being so hard to keep clean i would have got that hands down

Physically mounting the top frame in the car isn't so difficult. I've had mine in and out a couple of times while working on wiring and the rear tray modification to make the soft top fit with the rear tray and CR rear body stiffener. I should have taken photos while it was in, but I'll have to do that next time.

Lately I've focused more on the under hood stuff, AC, Supercharger, Wiring, etc... Next big challenge is tackiling the top wiring/control unit and such. Not as simple as it sounds, believe me.

Should also be getting a few suspension pieces soon so I can assemble the brakes, braided lines, rotors, and CT Eng ride height adjustment kit...

It has been and will continue to be a slow, deliberate process.

Mchester,

The car looks amazing, any nice photoshoots with some nice backgrounds? I think I see some HRE wheels or something in one of the pictures

Just a heads up to the other guy looking for white S2000 CR. The white CR that was at Cerritos Infinity sold to Norm Reeves Honda.

I just got off the phone with them, they are expecting to get 31k out of the car. Now bare in mind I had the dealership down to 27,899 at Cerritos Infinity, so if anyone is interested in buying this car know that you are going to pay a pretty penny. Don't forget to let them know that the same car was for sale for 27,899.

By the way- Cerritos Infinity F'ing blows to deal with. They pulled a total bait and switch and can't even complete a full sentence.

God dealers suck. It's like they know I want a white CR but wont sell it to me at the same price the black ones are selling for...

Hey CR owners and owners with CR suspension.

I'm kicking around the idea of getting lowering springs with the same rate as the stock CR springs but 1" lower. No manufacturer makes lowering springs close to the stock CR spring rates.

I have a company that will make them, but I need to see the interest level before putting in more time.

I personally love the CR suspension but ride height kills me and I would think a lower center of gravity would further improve lap times. The price would be 250.

Send me a PM if interested.

So, anyone else know of black or white ones for sale in California? Sunset Honda in SLO supposedly has 2 new 08s, but they don't seem to want to accept that they are almost 2 years old at this point and are still looking for sticker. (let me know if someone has a contact there.)

The one at Norm Reeves sounds interesting. Do you know if it's in good shape?

Sharp eye... Yes, those are 3 pc K-28s from Kinesis (pre-buyout). I love thier original product but I fear the newer stuff will be all show and no go.

The car is unfortunately still in many pieces, so no photo shoots just yet. I'm slow but sure.

Soon enough, I hope...
