Great car, love the look of the weels.... did they let you run at VIR without additional roll-bar... I thought you need to have an additional roll-bar to run at VIR... thanks to advise.
So the other day I was at a gas station and they had a scale to weigh trucks. I decided to weigh my car. Okay, so it's probably not horribly accurate, but hey, why not.
The scale is separated into sections, so I put my front tires on one section and rear tires on another to get a weight distribution. My friends eyeballed the halfway point as to where I was sitting.
1400 lbs front, 1540 lbs rear = 2940 lbs
That is with hardtop, driver (me), and 3 bars over half a tank of gas. Nothing heavy in the trunk. I weigh about 150 lbs. My car does not have a/c or radio.
Aside from the inaccuracies of using a truck scale to weigh sports car, I found it kind of interesting.

I'd been wondering what the actual weights were. Thanks for posting.
Okay took the roof since it was such a nice day went into the store came out 1/2 hour later and as I walked up on it I looked and thought GAAAAAAAAADAMMMN this car is so sweet! Uh does anyone else have this problem
I mean the way that rear spoiler just frames the car so perfectly or the way the light reflects off the tonneau cover behind the seats and just shines ... ugh drool!
This is from a guy with an NSX and on his fourth S2K. Honda oh Honda what have you done to me

I know what you mean. Every time I walk away from the car, I have to turn back and do a double take. And I'm on my second S2K!
