You will want pads as well if it is a real deal road course. I can't recommend anything, I tried Ferodo 2500's and can tell you they definitely will not cut it. There are a number of good brake pad threads in the racing section though.

CR + ice/snow = awesome!
lol figured id get in on that.
Im actualy quite happy with how my abs/slip differential are working hand in hand on this ice. Im happy to save i feel safer in this RWD than i did in my FWD eclipse.
Yeah hardtop and VSA make the CR a great all season car with good winter/all season tires. Plus it's nice that the cloth seats don't bite yer a$$ like leather does

Carbotechs are fabulous but you need to switch them in before track events as they will drive you crazy with noise if you try to use them everyday.

I have SS lines , Superblue fluid and Carbo's and don't have any problem with fade even on big tracks like VIR.

Spr2, I know you have unlimited cooling capability due those snow storms out in the Midwest, but I was wondering what Carbotechs you're running: AX6 all round or the typical track setup Xp10/Xp8 f/r combo. This super blue fluid...I was told you switch between blue and gold to distinguish your fluid changes?

Just buy it if you want it...else, you'll never buy it. Once you do get it, I'm pretty sure your pockets will feel lonely, but you'll be thoroughly satisfied.

Truly as nothing cools your brakes off more quickly than parking lot donuts in a few inches of snow

I actually use X8 all around w/o issue. Mmm I've never tried gold or heard that that's something your supposed to do. Brake fluid is a ritual of Spring to me so I haven't forgotten yet.

Switching between the gold and blue fluid isn't necessary. It's the same stuff. It's just that when you do a complete flush, you'll know you got all the old fluid out when the new colored fluid comes out with your bleed.

ahh yea...thanks for clarifying. i think running on oem pads + fluid should do the trick on the first time out.

something fun i learned about this car is that changing the oil on the s2000 is really hard when you don't jack up the car...yeeeee

Thanks!

Has anyone thought about this for their CR?

I have headers and exhaust on my CR but haven'y touched the intake as I'm noy sure what's a good one to go with. Factory intake seems to equal all other intakes.
