Anyone have a k&n fipk on their cr? Thinking of picking one up.
i do. great buy imho, same gains for less price than the passwordjdm's big ass intake.. check out the n/a forum, theres a guy that actually did a b4/after dyno.. he got 9-10whp. K&N doesnt spend all that r&d for nothing

Ha ^ I had the PWJDM intake and felt no difference over my Fujita other than the Fujita sounded a ton better, yet the PWJDM looked better!

Great footage! Thanks for posting.

What's a good tire pressure you guys have used for DD and then track/autox use?
on this video I ran 34psi in the rear and 36psi in the front (cold tires).

I monitored tire contact patch wear to determine if I needed to make adjustments.

Nice run. Just curious - you stock (including tires)?
I hope to make it out to Putnam this year.

I ran it completely stock - literally off the showroom floor last year - and it was a blast - although I did go through my RE070's in 2 days (only 1200 miles on the car).

This year, the video you see, I am stock with the exceptions of:
- Running the RE01R's
- Swapped out the "Heavy Duty" Dot 3 fluid for Super Blue
- Tried Hawk HPS's - wasn't really impressed, likely back to OEM pads (the OEM pads work great and are cheap)

I'm surprised you run oem pads/fluid. On my AP1 I forgot my track pads once and had to run on my autocross pads. I was getting fade after the first session!

Sad to hear the Re070's burn out somewhat quickly. I'm planning on running the Redline time attack in street tire class (because their classing system blows) when they come to Chicago. I was hoping my RE070's would last me 2 practice track days I have scheduled as well as the 2 time attack days, but that doesn't look likely. I'll probably pick up some RE11's or direzzas before then.

OEM pads but not OEM fluid. The OEM fluid sux.

I'm on RE01R's now, much better wear.
If the RE11's are the next gen, get them.

oh i did get him.
forced the pass out of turn 4. it was a 997 Carrera S with some GT3 add-ons.
Beautiful Porsche. Owner was a great guy.

I decided to cut the edit just short of the overtake. Purpose was to simply show the S2K in action on a clean lap.

I have plenty of footage. I'll edit some more clips and post later.
What kind of camera mount are you using? Thanks.
