I have no problems saying I would cry....

If they total it, maybe you can buy it back and repair it.

Coming from a guy who wrapped his MR-S around a tree and ended up on semi-life support, I'd say be glad it wasn't worse. Sorry for your loss, but we can replace our cars, but not our lives. Cheers

I think it will be totaled.

Sure the body looks okay, but you can assume EVERY piece of the suspension and brakes are ruined, and that will almost certainly mean both subframes are ruined or will at least need to be reset, AND it will almost certainly mean the upper arm attachments are belt like tin foil. It would take major money for parts and major money for custom fab work to repair the damage.

RIP, little S. If you can buy the hulk from the insurance company, you can probably part out the engine, interior parts, untouched body panels, etc.

After all that the tow truck driver mangled my Q300 exhaust while trying to load it onto the truck

any idea's what travelers will give me, i have full coverage.. (i'm about 99% sure it's totaled)

Im sure they wont give me enough to buy another S, so i was looking at this http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/2858570865.html any thoughts?

Pic from yesterday...

the aftermath...

The instance totaled it...... Im getting $8k.....

Mulder headlights... yum. I attempted this a year back but failed after some aggravation of the procedure. Sure would be nice to get a pair though...

Eitherway, Hope all goes well with your S. Getting a new one is never like owning the original, Sure it is updated, less miles and more reliable but the bond isn't there. Nor are the parts.
