Official S2ki GoPro Crew
I have the Micover and it helps a lot but only up to about 50-60 MPH and it depends on how high you have the RPM's. If you have your engine in vtec, it is easier to hear, otherwise it gets drowned out by the wind noise.
The front bumper mount that I made works pretty well because the back of the GoPro is almost touching the bumper so there is less buffeting there to produce wind noise. I do have a Audio Technica Pro 24cm on its way though... and like the other guys on the thread have shown, the results speak for themselves! Hope this helps!

So there are no external microphones for the Hero 1? Damn.... might have to return this thing.
AutoX yesterday, almost lost the car at one point, yet was somehow still faster than my other runs, which were smooth.

Hey, I just bought a GoPro HD Hero 2 this weekend and I went out to test it in the S2000. I am using the modifry mount that is up on the secret compartment. I found that with the top up the camera records the interior of the car really well, but the outside is really bright and somewhat washed out. I was wondering if there is any setting that will help clear up the video some? Thanks for the help.
