oil change

the only thing they didnt tell you above, is that you should get a fumoto valve-
makes the oil change a lot easier... no more washer changes, torque checks, etc.

makes oil changes so simple. i dont have to jack up the car or crawl under anymore.

You could get a fumoto valve for free if you go to the Dragon and find the one a member lost as he was driving! He lost all his oil (of course) and a Harley rider laid down his bike when he hit the oil trail.

That story was the end of the fumoto valve idea for me.

(BTW - he swears it was properly torqued).

Simple and easy is not always the best way to go. This has not been the first report of something going wrong with one of these drain valves.

I don't jack mine up to change oil or filter,just drop filter and reach down abt 4 inches further and you will feel a hex there, thats the drain plug,remove with a socket, short extension and ratchet. Piece of cake
